Battery powered respirators on stand-by ready for First Responders. Keep in a vehicle or at a convenient location. For Level C use by law enforcement, emergency medical, fire departments, domestic preparedness, hospitals, security, first aid, employees at risk, supervisors and technicians. Evaluated by US Military at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. NIOSH Approved. Super/NBC canisters for protection against toxic agents, chem-bio hazards, gases, vapors, aerosols, with integrated hepa filter. Full facepiece or Tychem hood. Lithium or alkaline cells.

For rapid use by first responders in homeland security situations following accidents or terrorist acts involving nuclear, biological and chemical agents. Hoods are loosefitting and do not require a fit test. FR3 First Responders PAPRs use the special NP5505 filtering din-thread canisters. These have been independently tested against war gases and NIOSH approved for a range of industrial gases and HEPA particulate protection. Complete with mask, breathing tube, blower, battery pack, belt and two canisters.

NP5505 Super/NBC Canisters, $98/3

NIOSH approved for use against organic vapor, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde, ammonia, methylamine, particulates, aerosols, fumes, mists, radon daughters, radionuclides, dust, particulates. Effective against certain levels of war gases and terrorist agents such as nerve gas, blood agents, irritants, choking agents and tear gas. Din 40 thread. Sealed for long term storage. 0.7 lbs. each.
